Rick has been a fireman for 31 years and an American Heart Association CPR instructor for 12 years.

Rick has also taught EMS and Fire Science classes at Southwestern Oregon Community College, Marshfield High School, North Bend High School, and is currently a part-time instructor for the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training.
